New Bowie photo released yesterday on his official Facebook page, by the way.

EXCLUSIVE JIMMY KING BOWIE BIRTHDAY PHOTOGRAPH

"Photograph King, watches you go..."

Here's another treat from Jimmy King...an exclusive photograph of David Bowie taken while having lunch at a Japanese restaurant yesterday.

Now that is the look of a man at peace with himself having just heard about some of the reaction to yesterday's announcements...possibly.

Isn't it lovely that we are being spoilt so rotten on Bowie's birthday?

Is it just me or has he had work done?

It's happening, fellow Bowie fans. He's making a comeback. Releasing a new album. I'm still not entirely convinced I'm not dreaming.

A still from the new video (yes, a new video!):

Also did not see anybody post about this!  Lost David Bowie footage found of Jean Genie performance!

And for legality, I stumbled across this Bowie (Jareth) tattoo:

and just in case that's not good enough:
How can you not think "SEXY!" when you look at this?Collapse )

It's BIRTHDAY WEEK, here is your theme, please stick to it, only NEW Bowies trump theme weeks, we'll be back on random the following week.

The most common form for Haiku is three short lines. The first line usually contains five (5) syllables, the second line seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables. Haiku doesn't rhyme. A Haiku must "paint" a mental image in the reader's mind. This is the challenge of Haiku - to put the poem's meaning and imagery in the reader's mind in ONLY 17 syllables over just three (3) lines of poetry!

Best one wins a prize from my extensive Bowie collection, might be a bit rubbish but it's not costing YOU anything so don't whine.

Don't forget, this is a PICTURE community, we come here to ogle... every post must contain a picture of Teh Gorgeous.

Let us celebrate...
